Senior Mortgage Planner
I started my career in my hometown of Trail, BC while studying Office Administration at Selkirk College. In the late ‘90s I moved to Vancouver to pursue an occupation in business. This eventually led me into the world of mortgage brokering in 2000 upon studying at UBC and working with several award-winning mortgage specialists. After building a successful portfolio and consistently meeting clients’ needs for several years; I decided to become an independent mortgage broker. Given the constant changes that occur in our industry, I am proactive in my efforts to stay up-to-date on all knowledge and updates as related to CMHC, Genworth, Canada Guarantee, Chartered Banks, FICOM and private lenders so that I may best serve the needs of my clients.
I have underwritten thousands of mortgages over my career and assure you that every detail is taken care of to the best of my ability on every single file! I read the lender’s fine print that you may not be aware of and bring any points of concern to your attention. Additionally, I am very detail oriented and like to take the time with each client to sit down for a face-to-face meeting in order to fully understand your needs and explain exactly what you are signing for. I also meet with many of my past clients a few months, or years, after their closing date to review their current situation, assess possible debt restructuring needs, or offer guidance on financing their renovation wants and dreams. I am committed to finding a solution for my clients that they are satisfied with and understand.
I live on the North Shore with my family. I lead a very active life which includes fastball, hiking, working out and cooking gourmet Italian meals for my family.
